Course
- The 5K event will use the Ritter Park course to the Memorial Arch and back.
- Opening ceremonies begin at 8:00 am at the New Shelter and the race will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
Entry Fees
- Standard Rate Registration – $25
- Race Day Registration – $30 – April 26, 2025 (Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Ritter Park Shelter)

- Medals to Top 2 Overall Male/Female
- Medals to Top 2 Male/Female in each age category: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79. 80-84, 85 & up (no duplications of awards)
- Team Trophies awarded to: The teams that raise the most money – First and Second Place and the teams that have the most members – First and Second Place
- Individual Prizes awarded to: The top 2 individuals who raise the most money

Following her son’s autism diagnosis in 1963, Ruth Sullivan relentlessly lobbied local officials and members of Congress to make schools accessible to children with disabilities. Her advocacy also helped secure the passage of the 1975 federal law that became known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
